Sarangan Narayanan, is a graduate in Electronics and Communication from College of Engineering, Guindy, Madras. Thereafter, in order to enrich his knowledge in the then ‘not-so-developed’ Electronic field in India, he went through a Diploma Course in TV Engineering.
In 1981, he went to incorporate MRO-TEK and in the year 1984 initially, as a Private Limited Company and in the year 2000 the company went IPO, which was a successful event. Ever since the inception of the company, Narayanan has taken the position of the leadership in the organization, responsible for identification of suitable products and technology. He was also responsible for identification of potential markets, marketing and after sales and identification of the right talent for the right job..
MRO-TEK ‘s 25 th year landmark was celebrated in the presence of distinguished Dr ABDUL KALAM Work force in MRO-TEK was more than 350 in various departments such as R&D, Manufacturing, Marketing and Services MRO-TEK was the first company to have JV with Israel company RAD Data Communication to manufacture high tech products in India, and several other JV fell in place later.
Being a senior entrepreneur Narayanan evinced interest in various other progressive ventures, therefore he exited MRO-TEK.
